Theodore Too is in Halifax, and everytime I see that thing I want to puke. After about five years of it, it gets annoying.
It makes the tourists laugh though. It often greets the cruise ships at the entrance to the harbour.
It's based on a similar children's show called Theodore Tugboat that was popular a few years back. It takes place in the Big Harbour, which was actually based on Halifax Harbour. It stared Halifax native Denny Doherty, of Mamas and Papas fame, as the harbour master. They built this full-sized, fully functioning replica a few years back down in Lunenburg.
