One does wonder if there was any external differences between the British and Swedish Mk. 3, 5 and 10....

There were significant visual differences on the Strv-104 variant vs the British variants and the earlier Marks used by the Swedish army.

A few examples:

different stowage arrangements
repositioning of smoke dischargers (also different type - I think)
different driving lights
additional armour welded on the front
modified cupola & MG arrangements

I think the engine deck was different in detail as well.
