Allow for the colour reproduction process, and always be wary of restored aircraft ! The seat padding was close to the seat colour, but not as reddish. It was, as mentioned, a very dark brown. The flare rack (yes, on the front of the seat pan) has been added to a number of restored aircraft and, although it might have been in place on some MkVs during WW2, it's doubtful. The rack was fitted to the early Mk1, which had a metal seat. No problem though, just leave it - don't want to damage such a neat set-up.

Frame 8(instrument panel) is 'tacked' in place with a tiny tiny dob of superglue so it can be manovered into its proper posistion inside the fuselage if need be
