Tamiya M4A3 Sherman Tank in 1/35th scale

This one is the second on my list of tanks in my stash to build and I have the time right now so here goes.
It's an older kit, according to Scalemates, from either 1966, or 1981. Anyway, its old.

This is the first thing I saw, Copy right marking in wery visable and hard to remove aeras. I've already filed off the one on the tank body and have yet to do the one on the turret.

The top and bottom parts of the turret glued together showing an ugly gap which will have to be delt with.

Lastly, I've glued the transmission housing onto the front of the lower hull and also the back plate with exhaust stacks and hitch.

Yea, kind of looks anemic with that 75mm gun. I would have rather built a firefly or an Easy 8, but this is the one I had in the stash.

Are you sure that was a trademark/copyright mark ?
It looks like it may be intended to represent a factory casting as on the real turret.

I think Terry has a point. A quick Google shows images with similar markings on actual turrets.

It was a C in a circle or rather an octagon and looked like a copyright symbol. Anyway, it's gone now
