OK, so you texicans are tough. You are not that far away from me any more so our temps are pretty much the same, except I have water. With next weeks heat that rifle in the window of your pick-up is going to start firing on its own. Hopefully one of these tropical storms will hit your area. You also have to remember I'm a displaced northerner. Temps back home are in the mid80's or so, 100's are pretty rare. going to take a while for my blood to thin. at least the humidity here is usually low.

Heh. Actually I hate Texass for all of the above reasons. Its just too hot for anything other than well-done steaks and hornytoads.

Can't offer any heat-relief but I do have plenty of water. 85 miles of it, 29ft above normal pool

OH YEA, the turbines take water from the bottom of the lake, 180ft (55m) down so the White river runs about 34F (1C) at the base of the dam. It's like a natural air conditioner down there. A good wet suit or dry suit need to dive to any depth around here
