I don't think anyone who saw the mock-up at Paris in 2019, including myself, thought it was the real thing. Interesting thread though, a lot of great detail about the aircraft.
As in it would be representative of the actual flyable prototype. A lot of people initially assumed design activities would be centered around the mock-up, so most were actually gobsmacked when they saw P0* on the assembly line. What I said was in reference to that. I'm also glad you found it interesting :pilotsalute: I'm actively trying to post every publicly available info out there.

Saw this article about a terrorist attack on TAI's headquarters just outside Ankara today:


Given that the Kaan's first test flight also took place in the Ankara airfield, I'm wondering if the reported explosion during today's attack had impacted the Kaan programme.

Truly sorry for the loss of life that's been reported, currently 5 people per latest updates, plus 22 wounded. I hope the latter make full and rapid recoveries.
