It was warmer here, only went down to 10C on our first day of winter. Second day now and it's foggy and 7C.

Canadian wild fire make NYC look like Arrakis.
Not as bad on Long Island, but the pictures don't do it justice. It looks like the camera filter they use in movies when they say they are in Mexico.

Sorry my friend but we DO need it, last month only had 24mm and up to today, 5mm this month and temps have been abnormally high . Me thinks things are going to be bad over winter and into spring.

Unseasonably cooler temps for early June, there's still patches of snow on the lower mountains and a series of spectacular thunderstorms the past few days have rolled through.
I described it as burning maple, with undertones of hockey tape and Tim Hortons.
