Now they have upped it to 11 inches. Still nothing like what you get up there right George?
 
Yea. When you listened to the early "settlers" here, the snow was so deep that sledders would be racing across the tops of mobile homes. It was nothing to see guys on their roofs with snowblowers trying to relieve the weight of the snow so they could open and close their doors. I used a shovel.....once. the snow was up to my chest
 
Chris, sounds like you are back home in the USofA. Here in the balmy South at 2PM CST the temp is 8F with 40mph winds (-13.3C with 64.4kh) that puts the Feels Like at -18F (-28C). After reading Geo's post I'll just zip me ECWCS Level 7 Parka up along with me lip.
