Sorry no offense, born Oregonian and was taught from birth to say my bed time prayer, Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray California fall in the deep. We bumper stickers that read,"you came, you saw, NOW LEAVE " and Californian GO HOME" now it's fifty years later and I can't even afford to move back to my state of record. Just a week ago, wife and I went off to "The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania" and it rained for the drive up, the hike, and the drive home. 3 days of rain. Will go back again though.

Overcast and cool. Took my mom up the hill to view the eclipse. The clouds occasionally broke, allowing direct viewing. When they were thickest, I could view the corona directly. Amazing. Pictures didn't come out well, though. 3 minutes 53 seconds of totality. The local coyotes started howling.
