Would love to see your magic front porch in action.. sadly I have to decline the wonderful opportunity. I would have to commute to Huntsville. The office has power and another inventory is due next week. Who besides the state government makes you inventory your emails?

The new place wear I am working had an open house. We had different activities available for residents to try. The was an 84 year old man with a 50 something year old. She had way to much to drink and could almost walk. The guy was was out dancing the Zumba instructor. He must have been an original Chippendale dancer. Ooo my eyes.

My house turns into an aircraft factory as she drives off to her Brother's or our daughter's etc.
The six foot folding tables work great.
The annual week bro/sis in law, daughters & hubbies meet at the beach in Florida gives me several tables of completion, cutting formers, and plan inspection for new mischief.

For the first time in two weeks, the daytime highs were below 110°F (43.3C) - it was only 105°F (40.5C) today.

My AC has been going 24/7 and the bill is going to suck.

We have averaged monthly billing, so every bill sucks. But they suck the same every month. Except January, when the over/under for the year needs to be paid.

I have balanced billing. I pay less though the summer and more during the winter to pay for my miss deeds of the summer, it just the counter for the gas bill which is higher in the summer.

I pay for what I use - typically, my electricity usage is much lower.

Just this high-pressure weather system has pushed my limits.

Yeah I don't ever recall those temperatures in that part of California, but it's way above normal throughout the North West and inwards.
