The Central Florida Highlands is sort of a joke. I am about 30 miles (49km) from a town called MT. Dora which is not the highest point in Florida. They sell T-shirts where the height above sea level is in big numbers in inches, 184 ft is not impressive to most tourists

yikes bad memories.Snowing, winds gusting to 50kph. -20°C/WC -29°C. Total whiteouts happening. The daughter was heading out of town tomorrow but the wife heard from a delivery driver that the 2hr trip took 31/2 and there was five vehicles in the ditch. I was checking the highway cameras and here we have number 6. It must have just happened at the time I took the screen shot, these cameras update every 10 minutes. Note the headlights still on and the guy lost it on a very long straight stretch which continues out of camera view
