1/3" of welcome rain in this otherwise dry late summer.
 
I'm going to get a wall thermometer for my bay at work. Then I'm going label the temperature ranges. 80 and above will be shaded red and labelled "TOO HOT TO WORK"
60 and below will be shaded blue and labelled "TOO COLD TO WORK"
60 to 80 will be shaded green and labelled "TOO NICE TO WORK"

We have been a bit short on rain, which means it has been rather hotter than normal. AWOS reported 95F yesterday in mid-afternoon. But late yesterday we had a full fledged frog choker of a T-storm, with the works, including tornado warnings. Lightning, thunder, 1.9 inches of rain, but not much wind. AND COOLER AIR! Only 77F when we got up this morning.
