We've had two days without rain here in Northern California and people (and the media) are exclaiming we're now in a drought.
This is literally after a series of storms dropped almost 12" of rain in the valley within a week.
The next person that says "drought" to me gets throat-punched...

Our drought has already dumped 70mm on us since 10am and the dam is not only overflowing but it has flushed nearly all the garbage from it. Not bad for a day that had 2-20mm forecast.
