it is an excellent read he just has some very unusual flying experiences that cannot be documented

I agree with Erich. It would seem, with information available since Clostermann wrote his book, which I read about forty years ago, that there are some 'inaccuracies', for want of a better word. Some of these, I believe, were to do with victory claims. Sounds a bit similar to Von Werra, and I write this with all due respect to the two men concerned.
