I have visited the URLs of the following websites over the past few days:

1. americancombatplanes.com (Ray Wagner's website about, well, American combat planes)
2. 361fg.com (The 361st Fighter Group's official website)

and both are clearly offline.

Anyone know if one or both of those sites are permanently offline?

Thanks

Thanks for the tip on Ray's site. I was just clearing out some book shelves and almost donated Ray's massive tome to a library but so help me it's true: NOBODY KNOWS HOW LONG A WEBSITE WILL LAST!

Shucks, I gave my collection of space launch videos of a failure to Embry Riddle University. They agreed to make them accessible to researchers but instead they threw them away.

Not sure who if anybody is maintaining Ray's website and its been 8 years since he passed away. I don't think SDAM was doing it.

Fleetairarmarchive.net looks like it is also defunct. :(
