I suppose this was just a matter of time. It wasn't that long ago when the so-called AI wingman was announced - which I think is a good idea by the way. I'm not so certain about this new development but then again I'm just an old dude! I want to believe these would be useful for area denial in very dangerous situations.
Did anyone catch the error in the article?

A minor error and doesn't affect the article: the Boeing F-32 lost out to the Lockheed F-35.
