Hi folks, I've been around a bit in the forum, but not in this section. It may be a very good place to get some criticism.
These pics are from my 3D CAD drawings at full scale derived from a clutch of badly corrupted photocopies of the original Avro drawings. I've tried to preserve the nominal Avro precision of 0.4 mm (1/64 inch). But there's still a lot of deduction and interpretation on my part.
Sorry the pics are big; but they have to be to see the detail.
This last pic is a test piece to determine the supports for the turret deck. The outer diameter of the turret ring as shown above is a tad less than 44 inches. There seems to be the possibility that this is too big. I derived this by eye from a good photo and a very badly corrupted Avro drawing. So I'd welcome suggestions.
And I'd welcome very greatly detailed drawings or photos of any part of the Lanc fuselage.
