Really does. As much as I hate Big Brother. cameras on every corner are coming to a neighbourhood near you. Maybe mount a high power rifle on them as well
It's all on CCTV just doubt it will go anywhere (police have the footage now)…

One local group of kids (all 15 and under) knew enough about CCTV to wear hoodies and keep their eyes down.
That is why I told my son to put pinhole cameras down low on solid items they will look hard at but will not be able to move or want to steal as his shop security. Inside a fridge is good because they always look for a cold drink of some sort - and some are so stupid they get caught TWICE by leaving the drink container behind. See example below and see if you agree with me that there is no incentive for that crim to mend his ways.

Was up until 3:30 this morning trying to put a handgun back together after tearing it down completely a couple weeks ago. Tried to go to bed a couple times, but it just had me so frustrated that I could not get to sleep.
Tiny a$$ spring in the safety mechanism kelp flinging it's detent across the room when trying to depress it. Took a while to find it a couple times, cursed like Yosemite Sam on a couple occasions. Next time I'll assemble that part with the main frame in a large zip-lock bag in order to keep that thing from flying across the room.

There was a magazine article in WW II that described taking apart an M-1 (not official) and the first thing was to spread out a bed sheet on the floor to help catch the pieces.
After a number of sentences it was also reveled that the bed sheet made a handy way to transport the pieces to the unit armorer for reassembly?

I lived with the Garand from June 1959 till April 1961. They had to be lightly oiled during the week for surprise inspections, completely dry disassembled for white glove inspection Saturday mornings. We learned to oil them during the week with lighter fluid as it appears shiney and is easily removed in very hot water for Saturday. Guess who forgot to use real oil before going to the range. The old beast ran fine until rapid fire, then needed help.
No one ever lost any parts and we could disassemble/reassemble blind folded. The only caution was do not put the dogleg in upside down. That makes it inop.

The follower arm in the above diagram is what could be put in upside down and the system would not function.
My M-1, as I recall from the serial number then, was made in 1953 by International Harvester.

I avoided the "M-1 thumb", however I did get my white glove thumb caught in the bolt which pulled off the glove from my hand, hanging there in the bolt like a flag.

Oh, do tell!
Firstly, she practised walking down the aisle for over an hour to time her walk perfectly to the duration of her chosen entrance music.
Secondly, she wanted the general public banned from entering the hotel because she is getting married and only wanted to see her guests in the building.
(We explained how much revenue we would lose doing this and if she paid the same we would, but unsurprisingly said no)
