No, you should add the soda crystals to a larger quantity of water. If you pour some water into a quantity of dry soda crystals, you can get an explosion from the exothermic reaction and gassing.Sounds like the Flake Sodium Hydroxide we used at work in the 60s-70s. Donot add to water but add the water to it. And as advised, use rubber gloves and eyewear when handling.
When the water hits it, it generates a lot of heat. It does clean car parts very well and is an excellent paint remover.
That all make sense, but I'm just stating how the directions say to use the product. No, you should add the soda crystals to a larger quantity of water. If you pour some water into a quantity of dry soda crystals, you can get an explosion from the exothermic reaction and gassing.
Also, beware putting dry crystals down into a pipe, it can set into a solid lump or possibly the reaction may blow the dangerous stuff out!
Usually, the soda should be mixed to a suitable solution and used as per the instructions.
Beware, this stuff is lethal to animals, children and even adults if safety precautions are not followed!

Laughing with, not at.Dropped a 50 pound server I was workings on from about 2 feet in the air, luckily the big toe on my left foot broke the fall. Spoke several known cuss words and several unknown to man until now ones afterwards.
Having extra gas sitting around is inefficient. That's why we have gone to the "Not in Time" ordering system.Imagine working for a company, where they run of gas for their forklifts, twice....in a fortnight!
You couldn't make shit like this up, among other things what goes on here!
Just got it done. I rewarded myself with a scrambled eggs and bacon sandwich. From that place on the corner. I don't know why theirs are so good.Yikes! Good luck with that Rob! At least you found out with a few hours to spare!
Canadian wildfire smoke!!!! Would be nice to step outside for a breath of fresh air once and a while, but instead get to have a smoke without even needing a cigarette.
Hotter than blazes one day, raining the next, and the "nice" days the air is filled with smoke. I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I'm looking forward to Winter.
Rant over, for now.
