No, you should add the soda crystals to a larger quantity of water. If you pour some water into a quantity of dry soda crystals, you can get an explosion from the exothermic reaction and gassing.
Also, beware putting dry crystals down into a pipe, it can set into a solid lump or possibly the reaction may blow the dangerous stuff out!
Usually, the soda should be mixed to a suitable solution and used as per the instructions.
Beware, this stuff is lethal to animals, children and even adults if safety precautions are not followed!

Dropped a 50 pound server I was working on from about 2 feet in the air, luckily the big toe on my left foot broke its fall. Spoke several known cuss words and several unknown to man until now ones afterwards.

Canadian wildfire smoke!!!! Would be nice to step outside for a breath of fresh air once and a while, but instead get to have a smoke without even needing a cigarette.
Hotter than blazes one day, raining the next, and the "nice" days the air is filled with smoke. I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I'm looking forward to Winter.

Just got it done. I rewarded myself with a scrambled eggs and bacon sandwich. From that place on the corner. I don't know why theirs are so good.
