sounds become muffled..............
wives become more aggressive ........................

I think this is why care homes are there!
$12,000.00 for hearing aides!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

That's a bit costly Bill. You can't get anything through your military service? I think our province is one of the few that don't get help from the government. I got mine through calling it industry related. Mine started '74 when I was swamper on a tank drill, noise which exceeds 100-115 dB. I asked for earplugs and they told me to use rolled up toilet paper.

Try Apple Airpods Pro 2 first at $350. They have a TGA approved hearing app that works quite well and solves the problem of not being able to hear people talking to you on the phone as well as being able to connect to other wifi devices.

They are no more uncomfortable than hearing aids and you can always find them with your iphone if you have one. Down side is short battery life.

iPhone? Ha.$$$$$$$$$$$

AirPods are not a bad idea. The iPhone 16e is around the $600 mark to buy outright or $70 to $80 per month on a plan including
calls and internet access. It wasn't available when I got my last one (old one was starting to get bad battery life after only 7 years)
soi I had to go more expensive.

Some people I know bought Apple refurbished Iphones at reputedly good prices but I have no idea what they paid. One person I know bought an Iphone 11 on fleabay at an excellent price some 18 months ago and he is still very happy with it - and he uses many apps like most of Zucks crap that I will never allow on my phones.

The 16e is $999.00 in Aus and my wife recently bought one. I am not impressed as the camera is missing several functions that exist on my old Iphone 11.

I was looking at the price with a trade in sorry. As to functions compared to different models I suppose it's a case of getting
what you pay for.

Been called 8 or 10 times over the years. Selected to smaller pools at least 6 of those times and ended up on juries 3 times. Asked to be excused to prevent appearance of a conflict of interest in one case. Final results... Two not guiltys and one where the case suddenly went away while we were starting deliberations.

Ever since I started driving my Toyota Matrix in 2007 I have been annoyed by a odd problem. I would hit the UNLOCK button on the remote, see the lights flash and hear it go "thunk," only to find the car still locked.

This morning I wanted to get something out of the Matrix but only wanted to bring the keys to my truck with me, so I hit the Matrix unlock button and put the keys back in the house before walking outside with just the truck keys. And the Matrix was still locked! Furthermore, this happened twice!

Then, on the third time heading out the door I SAW the Matrix lights flash - with the remote and keys on the kitchen countertop!

Obviously, the damn thing automatically locks itself again if the door is not opened soon enough after being unlocked with the remote!

Only took me 18 years to find out about this "feature"!
