I've spent the last couple of days upgrading my pedal-board on my guitar rig, and upgrading a cheapie Strat to hold better tuning and replacing the pickups etc. More work on that once I skill up on soldering.

Since the snow all melted in the last 2 days, I got out for the first >100km bike ride of the season. It was super windy, but really nice to be out. Might be a week or so until I can repeat .... 'cos we're expecting snow again tomorrow

I got the guitar put back together today and it seems working fine. Soldering is not nearly so touchy as guitar forums seem to suggest once you understand that solder flows to heat. Heat the part, not the solder.

I'll put the pedal-board back together tomorrow, and a pic or two. The guitar sounds much cleaner direct into the amp, no doubt that'll hold true with effects in the path.

Another one on one scenario of Buffalo Wings. This time pitting a Finnish Morane against a MiG 1. My daughter's boyfriend is really getting into it and is planning to buy the Fighting Wings 3rd Ed. ruleset. He thinks he's ready to go full rules now that he's played a few scenarios against me without getting shot down. Bwaaahaha!
It's nice to find someone for face to face gaming. Pbem is fun, but takes a long time.

Hoping to clean up my basement workbench so I can get to work on some projects that have been neglected all winter. Hope to put together a new set of test arrows for a couple bows so I tune a couple bow in next week, when/if the weather improves.

Helped "DordrechtInDeOorlog" to revise their website. They had a very old site, build with a Sitebuilder. It was slow and didn't look good. I've converted the site to a more static website, which increases the speed considerably and I also made a new layout.

DordrechtInDeOorlog btw is a digital museum about ww2 here in the city of Dordrecht. Some of you will remember I did a project with them for then-and-now photos 2 years ago.

Took the dog for a walk at the airport at sunup. It was perfect, beautiful and quiet, with only a lone Aeronca Chief shooting touch and goes! We both enjoyed it a lot, but I had to terminate the walk a bit early. There was this single duck paddling contentedly just offshore and my dog, Sunny, decided SHE HAD TO HAVE THAT DUCK! She usually is not that interested in birds, but that duck got her bloodlust up. Had to tow her away. I suspect that hitting the lagoon would have thrown cold water on her ardor, but then I'd still have had a wet dog to deal with.
