Back at work after 2 weeks holiday ! 
I picked up some shop free cabinets yesterday, my brother brought a free heavy-ass cast iron sink with a new fixture, and I had a bunch of MDO with laminate on both sides I have been dicing up. Today we knocked together a temporary kitchen using that laminate on those cabs. I had a slice of Cumaru, AKA Brazilian Teak from a custom truck bed trim. I cut it down and was able to get a couple of slices to edge the MDO.

At the Secretary of State, for the 2nd attempt to register and plate the 71 Fiat 130 coupe, I have all the French paper work translated hoping it goes better this time, fingers crossed

Success! 3 hours at the Secretary of State, 3 different people plus the Manager, several phone calls to the state capital, someone in Lansing had to add a Fiat 130 Coupe to the Model list of eligable Model to register, the only inspection required was verifing the odd vehical number that does is not recognised as a vehical number in Michigans System. And I now have a Street Legal Fiat that was never sold in the US of A!

Finished my classwork for the last summer class. Now, get ready for the two new ones starting in a week and think about when I go to school to get my classroom setup.

SWEET!
I was running materials last night and this morning.
My neighbor and brother finished with the cedar detail out front. Those doors are in primer and will get some color, not sure which one but they will get something.
The inspector came out briefly yesterday and we have a plan for inspections next week. One thing he wanted ( but would let me slide on ) was a range hood in the temporary kitchen.
No problem. I looked around on OfferUp, and found a free one along the way home. The permanent one is going to be a Victory cabinet mounted one.
I could hang it up on a bracket or something, but I thought a couple of upper cabinets would be nice. I found just the thing in a recycling and thrift store just down the road.
These are shop built gems, made by a craftsman and not in a factory. Solid plywood and laminate on all the shelf surfaces. They will come down and have a home in my shop when I build our kitchen out. $ 20 each.
main floor gate is up, and the platform gate is coming together on the bench.

Well the 71 Fiat 130 coupe made it the 500 miles from Detroit to Gettysburg PA for the annual Fiat Freakour with only minor issues. I have never run gas with 10% ethanol in it before and the car ran fine, but 2 times when we had to come to a stop and it was running warm, I think it vapor locked due to the ethanol. Had to open the hood and let it cool off for about 20 Minutes, then it would fire back up. Whew. I found a station close the the event that sells ethanol free gas so we should be OK for the event, But it takes 2 tanks og gas to make it home so it will probably happen again as ethanol free is not an option on the PA or Ohio Turnpikes.
Looking forward to meeting other Italian car nuts, the event is open to any Italian Brand, so far there are Fiats, Lancias, Alpha's, and an Autobianchi A112. Supposed to be around 180 cars here today. Hopping to have fun, and just realising how BIG our 130 Coupe is compared to all the other cars here. I will post some picture later if anyone is interested.

For reference, no-alcohol gas runs cooler and gives better mileage. You may find it closer to the ocean as most gasoline boat engines give less problems with real gas.
