Daniel Jakubovic - Here For The Moment, and (himself, within) Against The Wall - Blown Away, End Of Sumer, Stuck In A Daze, Take Everything Ellof Kirot (spelling?)
I didn't post youtube links this time, as I sometimes feel guilty for spam-tube-ing.
Here For The Moment, is a really great song, a rock and pop mix of influences and great lyrics turn up you sound systems to just below distrotion level!!- a bit Genesis-a-like with semi-Halen Lead Guitar. although the lyrics suggest the unity, struggle, loss of comrades during mandated conscription, they tune is melancolic to the lyrics; uplifting sounds chords ..and to be fair, so are most of the lyrics.
Take Everything, is my 2nd favourite ATG/DJ song after HFTM. I really like the mix of vocals that add to the melody and add to the lyrics emphasis. Also this song has hints of 'heavy metal'ness with a flavour of Eastern guitar style.
The other singer rhythm gutarist with the 'Faith No More'-escque voice, (I've haven't been able to work out his name, sorry dude) when he's not singing, can be seen in the ATW vids, to at times be so frantically and also able-ly strumming to keep up the background chord flow - no wonder in one of them, - he says at the end, of his fingers, 'Arrgh, thats it!' - finger/string burn.
Also the humour in the band is evident, certainly the drummer at times has much fun drumming, flicking his sticks cartwheeling in to the air and somersaulting them off struck cymbals/tophats, a band of mirth, melodies, lyrical adeptness and a range of influences and styles that generally give a positive feeling.
