I tried to translate the lyrics into English:

We don't miss each other cuz our hearts are blackened

Like the sky, they are no longer clear

He who said that kindness lasts forever

He was right, he thought our hearts were not made of stone

Your heart is young, does not believe the love story

My heart is old, it loves an endless love

Once upon a time, people were pure like angels

Those days they were dying for each other

Read the story of "Dash Akol"(1) to find out

Old lovers stood on their words

The story of I love you is fake

But my heart is empty of these doubts

You are becoming a stranger to me and you don't know it

What is my heart like in the midst of homelessness and sadness?

Your young heart wants a paper flower

My heart is old, it throws those flowers to the wind

1- Dash Akol is an Iranian pre-1979 movie!

Well, since I started a new group featuring this exact stuff, guess what I'm listening to? If you're in central WI, drop me a message and I'll let you know where/when we're playing.
