Hi Guys-

British WWII Plane question- I was wondering what planes they used to make supply drops to the French Resistance during the war. Lancasters? Mosquitos? I know they used Lysanders to get agents and such in and out, but where squadrons of Lysanders used to drop supplies as well?

Thanks.

Whitleys Stirlings Halifaxs whatever they could use

Mosquitos were used, according to what I've read. Can't comment on other types.

Lots of various planes as PB said, the Lysander was used but more for personnel drops and pick ups
