It's half true! I agree.

But An Army / Police duty doesn't change... They serve people, not ideologies / persons / political parties...

Things changed when Politians that never spent a single day in Army / Police, suddenly became Commander-in-Chiefs of Their nation's Army.

Sometimes, Naked Brutal Fierce Retrebutive Justice works way better than honeyed words. I personally believe its time to revive old fashions like "Eye for Eye" and "For the sins of one, All shall Suffer".

More or less, Same. And same can be said about the US.

France, England, Germany, US and all other tinier siblings of them, always refused warnings of locals and experts.

Mohammad Reza Shah once warned about these days, 50 yearz ago... not much ago, an Emirati or Bahrainian Sheikh has warned them again... all those warnings fell into deaf ears.

What else should have we done? What else we can do???
 
Back from Helsinki where I visited my son who is attending a minor at the university there. Nice and clean city. Not very touristic and very quiet for a big city like that. Me and both my sons (my youngest traveled with me) had a great time catching up. It's great to see they boys fight eachother like they did back home :lol:

thank you Finland. I was greatly impressed by the cleanliness and the friendliness of the great city of Helsinki.

Dozens of colonies with cultures absolutely foreign to western civilization, if not antithetical. Demography is destiny, and the West has been crippling its birthrates for a century. Meanwhile the underdeveloped world in spite of massive attempts at coercive population control by the "international community" has not seen as significant drops in birthrates as in the developed world.

This discussion is going to get shut down soon because it's political.

Also contemplating the Fall of Western Civilization isn't especially cheery.

I've set up an old laptop to work as an '90ies ms-dos pc by booting directly into dosbox-staging. Now I can play the old games I bought in the '90ies and haven't played for 20 years, all nice without all distractions of modern internet and multitasking.

So I play F22-lightning II and Flight Unlimited, to name a few. (I used to be very good at them, now I'm rubbish :lol: ) Also tried WP5.1, but forgot what the function keys did.

I'll try to see if I can set it up so I can use it as my main box from time to time. I'll have to figure out how to get my email in ms-dos.

I used to have a Mi 24 Hind gunship game and also a AH-64 Apache one fir my first PC, loved them and wish i could play them again
