Depends on the plane you're talking about Tim. FW 190 protoype flew prewar, in June/39 and was painted an overall dark green upper camo, likely 70/71 with 65 undersides. Me 163 prototype was overall 76. Me 262 was 74/75/76. You get it.
It depends very much on manufacturer and time. Pre-war Meserschmitt prototypes for example were usually overall L40/52,a light grey colour which was similar to the soon to arrive RLM63.
Wartime prototypes often were camouflaged. The only photographs of a radial engined 109 I know of are of V21and it isn't painted .
What colour the fabric covered control surfaces were is open to conjecture.
There are some good photographs of Bf109 V21 on p120 of Radinger and Schick,Bf109A-E. There is a line drawing of the BMW powered Bf109X on p121.
Cheers
