WW1 the eBay finds (1 Viewer)

There are a few things that are just not "right" about that image. For starters, the pilot appears to be wearing a parachute which were not much used during WW1. Secondly, the cars in the background look more 1930s than 1910s. Thirdly, is that the large fin of a much more modern aircraft visible to the left of the cowling?

Overall, I think there's been substantial doctoring to make this "look" like a WW1 image but I think it's much more modern.

I agree. The pic must have been taken after the WW1. Possible somewhere in pre-war Germany. The seller offers other images with the guy in. It looks like OFw Liebscher served with the KG 100 during the WW2.
