Not because of that, Pal ... . You are right, the tank is the British one. But the date 1940 of the orginal caption may be confusing. You know, a WW1 tank in 1940 ... it looks like she took part in the WW2 Battle of France. However the story is a very interesting one. It was said it was a different tank used by Germans at the WW1 battle and moved to the location. And the statement was valid for many years. Also the exibit was parked in a different way the 'Lotte" one was there. Anyway I though it might be interesting for our members and a nice addition to your great work here.

I ment i was surprised what is known about this one in a(trying to) funny way. I always read your comment on pictures and value them highly. And it is an interesting story for sure.
