Hi all,
Hoping someone can help with some questions on the German/Luftwaffe Mammut radar.
1) Can anyone please confirm that there would be ONE Mammut radar at any one site, as opposed to a cluster of Mammut radar? All pictures I've managed to find suggest they would be singular, but wanting...
Hi, New member here.
I am just curious about Luftwaffe Pilots preference/opinion of their autocannon. Did they prefer MG 151/20 more than MK 108?
Thanks.
Hallo Gents,
I got a hold of some parts from ( I think ) JU 88 Schnellbomber. First one a ID tag.! Any of you know what plane is from? And the other parts- What are these for?
All help is appreciated

Hi all! Just a question that’s been on my mind for a while. As I have mentioned in another thread, I love German tanks from WW2. However, I know from research that their armor plate manufacturing for tanks had some pretty bad quality control as well as things like sabotage and the works. One...
Hey y'all,
Does anyone know if there are any surviving members of JV 44? Ground crew/aviators. Also, has anyone on here met any members of JV 44?
Thank you
I'm still researching about a relative who served in the Luftwaffe, a Lt. Heinrich Ballmann and his crew Rudolph Busch, and Hans Strauss, their mission was to fly and take photos of the Port of Algiers and reported they went missing on August 15th 1943, but more information has been found...
I don't really do a lot of Luftwaffe subjects but was persuaded to build this, and I'm glad I did – it's a beautiful kit. This was the Profipack version with colour photo-etch and suchlike, plus I added Brassin resin wheels and the gun nose.
Among the main operators of the Arado Ar 234, the French Air Force had used two captured Ar 234.
I have been searching for information about these two but cannot seem to find anything. What did the French do with these Ar 234, where did they capture them and if there are pictures of them left...
Hi all
Here are photos of my latest completed model.
Built straight from the box except for the PE seat belts and some scratch built modifications.
Enjoy!
As usual, comments and critics are very welcomed!
Cheers
Hello everyone,
Both of these aircraft have squiggles or wave-like lines. On closer look, some of these lines resemble pretzels (at least I think so!). On the Me 262's port wing, which actually appears on the right-hand side of the photo and is facing downward, you can see a few examples of...
Here's my Me 262 A-1a
Kit: Revell
Scale: 1/72
Replacement parts: the starboard engine is a resin part by CMK. While this part is very nicely detailed, it leaves a sizeable gap at the joint between the engine and wing. To fill in the gap, I used generous amounts of Tamiya putty. After...
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here could answer a question of mine. During the Battle of Britain, were Luftwaffe fighter and zerstörer units that weren't assigned duties over England instead ordered to patrol over the invasion ports to intercept RAF bombers?
I share with you a lot of pictures, some of them previously unreleased, rare and never before seen by me, referring to one of the secret weapons of the Luftwaffe. We are talking about the Horten flying wing. Perhaps, the aircraft of the Second World War the most ahead of its time than any other...
Thought that I'd start this thread for the F-104G, that just happened to fall on to my lap, honestly....it did, sort of...
Try multitasking like I did with the two Skyraiders a couple of blue moons ago, Polish MiG-21 and this Luftwaffe F-104G from JaboG 34 numbered 26+13...
Is this the only...
I found this interesting photo of an Me 262 painted in a camo scheme consisting of rather long, wavy white (or very light blue?)squiggles. It also has a nose cap painted in 3 colors! It's in the book, "Stormbird Colors" by Brett Green and Benjamin Evans on Pg. 37. According to the caption, this...
