I've just noticed, I forgot to remove the eagle badge from the right breast of the figure !
The SS units wore a different shape eagle on the left arm, so I need to remove the moulded one when the paint is dry, and re-touch that area.

Yep, the badge should shave off without much problem - the darned paint is still tacky though, after 24 hours, so I might remove it and start again, using different paints. Bl**dy Humbrol, again !!

Got the main part of the tunic done, and made a start on the waffenfarbe and collar patches etc.
It looks a bit bright and 'yellowish' due to the lighting, but isn't as garish as it appears in the photos. Once all painting is complete, the figure will be given a coat of matt clear, which will get rid of the shine, and subdue the colours.
