Well I've been told an uncluttered work bench helps a lot. I guess so. anyway got wings and fuselage together. The bottom forward of the bomb bay was an issue but the correct curse words and the right mixture of glues and more curse words and a lot og filing and cursing, did I mention the art of cursing?
I am Tondelayo, With this introduction Hedy Lamarr introduces herself in the 1942 movie White Cargo.
And what a seductress she was. There were several aircraft named for this movie character during WW II, at least two B-17's at that. There is still a flying B-25 with the name.
My Tondelayo is having fit issues namely on the bottom forward fuselage, forward the bomb bay and it is taking time. but it is coming slowly.
Meanwhile I wanted something to catch things when they drop off my cluttered work bench and try to reduce the carpet monsters menu. My wife made me an apron for working on my models. She works in the fabrics section of the local Wal-Mart and found the canvas (lite) on sale and I had here take the strap from a luggage strap and make the back strap. Works great already tested it.
Ok here a update. When I mated the fuselage the section after and forward of the bomb bay did not line up and also the chin turret housing had quite a offset. So I've been building these areas up and taking them down. I feel like the Bondo man. but it is all getting to the right place. This is a big kit and a lot of ProWeld going into it.
