1/48 P-51D, Hasegawa or Tamiya?

I take it that the two piece canopy can a bit of pain in the *rse, or? For those that have built or am about to build them, what's the pros and cons between them, besides Tamiya's canopy?
 
Hasegawa or Tamiya? Tamiya kits are nice and come with sometimes metal etched kits and they do go together well. But Hasegawa in my personal recomendation is the better kit as they have more detail some parts will not fit well. I tend to find the paint flows alot better too wich gives a much better finnish.
