Great build! I really like your aproach on this older Monogram kit. The detail you added is just superb, as is your painting!!!
How will you tackle the lost surface detail? This is what keeps me away from the Monogram kits. They have rather nice surface detail, but due to sanding required to make everything fit, a lot dissapears...

On the monogram kits i dont worry about the raised surface detail being sanded off. I mainly focus on cockpit detail and getting the seams cleaned up

1/48 Monogram B-25J side guns , gun cover on tail , main struts and exhaust vents glued on. Next to start painting the engines . Also still need to do some final sanding.

Pretty impressive work! I still love what you are doing with this kit!
Perhaps I too should not worry to much about lost detail on Monogram kits...

(I really hope to build that Monogram B-17 G and Skytrain one day...)

Engines and cowlings painted , weathered and installed. Next to do some more final sanding . Getting close to the primer stage. Stay tuned

Since i am on the Monogram kick decided to start on the A-26B Invader . Will do some scratch building detail on the interior . Just need to find scheme and aftermarket decals . Right wing is complete. Used Tamiya filler for gapst in wing to nacelle area. Little more sanding to do. Stay tuned folks
