1/48th Tamiya Avro Lancaster. VR-A. KB726 model. aka year 2003ish.

Always wanted to build this Bomber after seeing the pictures put up by Cory Ulmer a long time back.

I do apollogise for not posting much on this forum! My original PC went down and lost hundreds of my fav' links forums.

No weathering at all on this model as she represents a fresh over-all.

All depends were you get the model kit from Terry! My last three kits cost just £39 each including postage from HK
There is a bloke at RAF Hemswell who sells the kits for £49!! He stands a stall in one of the Hangers,though he isn't there all the time

I got Bill the chap at CanMILair to make me some aftermarket decals, complete with the flags and other civil letters! Cool or what.

Thanks for the kind words chaps, Just noticed I have not taken a close up shot of the interior

A few pictures of the inside of the 'office' This too is done as VR-A actually is !
Note the twin yoke/No head armour/Red recovered seats/Sat-Nav'/Yoke lock/co' pilots back rest....lol

I did make the moose but there is a fault with the Tamiya fuselage and canopy
and the fuselage actually sits higher up and the DF Loop goes really close into
the blister of the canopy, My moose fitted into the loop but the horns touched
the canopy so instead on painstakingly make another one I binned the idea.

My moose 4th attempt minus its horns and took me hours to make, and the pin is a nob pin.
