1/72 Airfix Fokker F27 Friendship in MAS Livery

Hi folks,

Here's my finished build of this old Airfix kit (circa 1960) shown in the old Malaysia + Singapore Airlines 1969 livery. Another build for the circa Singapore 1965-1969 aircraft theme build.

Colors used were Gunze Acrylics and subtle weathering with Tamiya Panel Line Accent colors. Markings were all custom made with Miracle Decal Paper (Clear) and printed in my old trusty bubble jet printer.

A real lovely kit once it comes together despite it's old age. A definite must build or collect kit for transport aircraft modelers.

Also, I didn't quite plan how and where she's going to be displayed at home...oh well...

Nice to see old Fokker F27 in MSA...This is very impressive Airfix Fokker Friendship built I've seen this far.

My very first Flight as a small kid in a plane is the Fokker F27 in MSA old days.

Got a few ESCI Fokker F27..but they are not as accurate as Airfix...the Mk 500 has a longer fuselage.
so needs stretching the model a bit.
