1/72 Italeri C-47

[Wildcat]

Hot off the workbench (dining room table) is my 1/72 scale RAAF Dakota in 36 squadron air ambulance markings. The decals which I bought off ebay fought me every inch of the way. When they made contact with water they simply broke apart into heaps of pieces, hence the upper and lower red crosses and circles are painted on. I managed to save the smaller red crosses by covering the decal sheet in a gloss coat. The roundels are from a different sheet. Anyway her she is..

Unusual, and very interesting decal option.
Great model. Even with this new Airfix Dakota, this italeri oldie looks great.
