Warbirdnutball Warbirdnutball There's a large bomb on the sprue. It's 39mm nose to tail and 6.25mm in diameter. That's a scale 2808mm (110.5 inches) x 450mm (17.7inches). Don't know if that's the correct bomb Pearl Harbour isn't something I have researched as it's not my sphere of interest.

Yes, that's the one I need for the Pearl Harbor high level bomber. It's either a 14" or 16" shell that was turned into an armor piercing bomb specifically for this attack. I have been looking for a Kate in 1/72 tiny has that bomb for my set. Thank you for verifying that.

The Bombs in the Kit are the Single 800kg Modified Naval Shell (pointed Nose) Parts 14/15 (Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu high Level Kate Bombers), 1 x 250kg Part 3/4 used in a staggered Pair or 1 with the set of 60kg bombs (Shokaku and Zuikaku Kates), 6 x 60kg bombs Parts 29/30, all used at Pearl Harbour.
800kg land Bomb parts 27/28 was not used at PH

I was struggling with this camo scheme I will admit to being a terrible painter I have wobbly hands and the patience of a wasp. A friend suggested trying a different painting method, she suggested using a Rigger brush to do the outlines and fill in with a flat brush. The line of paint laid down by the rigger keeps the edges neat and stops over paint. I was "a Rigger what?" Its a brush with long bristles used to paint rigging on sailing boat pictures. The long bristles means you can do long lines without reloading the brush every couple of seconds. I went to the artist shop and bought 2 a synthetic and a Sable and they are brilliant. My new favourite brush it's doubled my speed.

Landing gear and bomb racks fitted. Now for the hardest part of modelling, walking away and letting the glue dry.

Gonna need a bigger bottle of decal solvent. These meatballs don't want to snuggle up to the wings
