Saw this article posted on another website. Sad to see some of the names on this list. Hope they are wrong. A&W and Sears? Say it ain't so.

Kelloggs Corn Pops!!!! Say it's not so, those were my favorite when I was a little brat Must not be enough sugar in them for todays youth or something.
Last several times I've been in a Sears store there were more sales associates than customers, and they were pretty much clueless and uninterested in helping. They seemed to be more concerned with BS'ing with thier pals.

Oh man, I love A&W Root Beer stands! Growing up we would always buy a root beer in a frosted mug.

We had a A&W Restaurant in Kingsport until about 4 years ago. I miss it.

There are few A&W's around central Iowa, still a few in small towns that are closed fall thru winter.

I don't know about much of that but around here every KFC has closed. That doesn't look good.
