Great stuff - love the Phantom, in all its guises. And yes old chap, that's a FGR2, of 2 Sqn, RAFG, Laarbruch. (Only 43 and 111 Sqns used the FG1).
A 1/48th scale 'Washington' would look rather good on your shelves, old boy .............. he said, running away rapidly !
 
It would need a bl**dy big, and wide, shelf old chap - wingspan of a 1/48th scale Vulcan is 27.75 inches, and length 25 inches !!
That's one bl**dy big plastic triangle !!
 
I thought he meant the triangle he plays in the girl's band on Sunday mornings ...........
That last pic looks like a Spangdahlem bird, possibly at Lakenheath or Alconbury in the 1970's.
