A crash on the factory airfield in December 1917.
153.113 was attached to Flik 68 and after repaired in June 1918, was fitted out as photo reconnaissance for Flik 40.
Starting with airframe 153.112, the Albatros D.III (Oeff) series 153 was delivered with a rounded nose, adding some 9 km/h to the airspeed.

Front of a covering of an aircraft coded "13" from Squadron 152 - This was the aircraft of a junior non-commissioned officer (sergeant) or a pilot corporal....
2Lt Ernest Maunoury poses in front of his SPAD XIII coded "13" - For the moment, Maunoury is faithful to the number "13" - He will then move to "16", probably after his accident on July 24, 1918 where he was badly bruised - Note the long Christian collimator visible behind the windshield (the long tube) - Photo Ernest Maunoury, transmitted by Pierre Mauroury, his nephew, via Monique Gallais, whom I thank both for their help....
