Reviewing the loss listings across 3 volumes and recording them wasn't too hard.....thought there might have been more.....

a little side note for many LW pilots the number 13 was an unlucky number and sometimes the crates with this numeral were not flown

Like sometimes hotels are missing the 13th floor, goes from 12th to 14th...etc.
Then, you still have some well known "13", Bär, Bartels, Rall, Priller, Dahl.....

Jan I have a rather length y interview of a IV.Sturm/JG 3 veteran-friend. He flew black 14 till almost wars end and everyone in his 14th staffel would not fly black 13. once his last black 14 was cracked up he took charge of black 13 and he told me it was his best Fw 190 that he flew. Interesting ending to his career in this crate
