Now that 2012 is here, I can look back on my second year back in the hobby, and first full one since the early 1980s.

Along the way i found two really crappy web sites that actually banned me, some indifferent ones and this one, that i have really found to be like home.

I'd like to thank my buddy Dirk for sending me here, as well as all the goup build guys I now consider friends and who by example teach this old dogs new tricks!

Thank boys for a good year, and now on to the kits built last year.

Last calender year i managed to compleet 25 projects and 2 restorations:

    1/48 Monogram Spitfire Mk 2 completed 1/1/11
    1/32 Revell Spitfire Mk1 completed 1/8/11
1/6 Horizon Incredible Hulk completed 1/23/11
    1/48 Monogram Zero A6M5 completed 2/1/11
    1/48 Revell-Monogram ME 262 completed 2/18/11
    1/72 Hasegawa Messerschmidt BF-109G-6 completed 2/27/11
    1/72 Airfix Henshel Hs 126 A-1 completed 3/13/11
    1/48 Academy Messerschmidt BF 109G-6 completed 3/18/11
    1/48 AMT Curtiss P-36 Mohawk completed 3/23/11
    1/72 Hasegawa Curtis P-40N Warhawk Completed 3/28/11
1/48 Italeri Spitfire Mk IX 4/21/11
    1/32 Academy P-51D Mustang 5/15/11
    1/48 Airfix Spitfire MkVb 6/13/11
    1/72 Hasegawa Bf-109E 6/28/11
    1/72 Airfix BF-109G-2 7/17/11
    1/72 Academy P-40B/C 8/2/11
    1/48 Airfix BF-109F 8/15/11
    1/48 Hasegawa F6F-5 Hellcat 9/17/11
    1/48 Amtech P-40E 10/19/11
    1/72 Lindberg TBM Avenger 10/24/11
    1/48 Arii/otaki Ki 61 Hein 'Tony' 11/14/11
1/48 IDEA P-40E Warhawk in Soviet service 11/24/11
    1/48 Kitech MS 406 12/14/11
    1/72 Heller Dewoitine D 520 12/19/11
    1/72 Hasegawa North American P-51D Mustang 12/23/11

the 2 restorations were both old Monogram kits completed in the 1960s, a hurricane and a BF 109E in 1/48 scale.

Rather then overload the thread with pictures, here is a link to all of them:
    2011 completed projects

Since the restorations aernt there, I'll add the pics here.8)

I'm with you, Chris. I've browsed a few modeling forums, and I like this one the best of all of them. Very supportive and helpful members. Very nice collection of builds this year, but I can't get the link to the pics to work. Just takes me to the US Message Board main page.

Edit: Just noticed that I've been here a year now. Thanks for all the help this past year, guys!
