I think the Brazil Belgium game will be excellent. Since whoever wins will be beaten by England in the final it's the football equivalent of swapping deckchairs on the Titanic but a free nights entertainment is a free nights entertainment.

Germany is a better team than what showed up to the tournament. Sweden should have won that game though. Germany got lucky, and Sweden is a better team than you give credit to.

Does anyone else think this tournament has France winning stamped all over it? Admittedly they haven't had the toughest
England won the fair play award at Italia 90 too. That's why i wasn't all that fussed when Henderson made a meal of that headbutt. Past England players have been too soft when it comes to fouls or going down in the box. I hate to see grown men rolling around on the floor like they have just been poleaxed, but every other team does it and if it helps us get through so be it. We should remember how football used to be. I wonder how many of todays players could handle the sheer physicality of the 60s 70s and 80s. When defenders used to give you back bits of skin from your legs that they dug out of their studs. lo
