Very similar to USA Wales. Completely on top but didnt kill the game then opposition substitutions and change of tactics got them back into it. I had to go out in the car, I saw the Japanese keeper make 4 great saves while losing 1-0, by the time I was in the car with the radio on iy was 2-1 to Japan WTF.What a disappointment. Germany lacks that killer instinct they have always been known for. After dominating the 1st half they could not put it way. Then stupid mistakes and Japan wins 2:1.
This is 2018 all over again.Germany will likely bomb out in the group stage again. They deserve that happening too.
Our guys did it the other way around, fart around for 70-odd minutes and then about 2 goals. Cheer up, the Germans just have to warm up. There have to as they need the beating the Dutch will give them.Total disappointment. For 65 minutes they controlled the game and were the better side. But they just could not finish it. At this stage, you deserve to go home when you play like that.
Both Spain and Costa Rica are better. I will hope for the best, but I think Germany will be going home early.
