The weakest part on the Monogram Thud has always been the main gear. So to fix it I carefully drilled a small hole as a pilot hole . Then drill another hole with slightly bigger bit. Then last bigger bit I drill I super glued drill bit and clipped offs . Drilled the hole to the depth about 3/8 of a inch . Then used wire cutters to clip excess off. Bam problem solved and struts strengthen .

Glued the burner can on the Monogram Thud last night and there was a step all the way around. Let is dried overnight . Went back today and sanded the step down. Perfect fix. Still have some final sanding to do

Very nice work! I too need to get moving on my own shelf of doom! But nice job. By the way, just a heads up, sanding the step off was a great job on the burner can, but technically the tool in the pictures is a saw not a sander!

As a notable figure on these hallowed forums often say's ... I've got me coat!

Not much to report on the F-105F tonight. Went a head and glued the center bomb rack on. Little filler work from drilling mount holes to big. I figure it's easier to glue the rack on . Then to glue it on last and mess up the metal paint :)
