Definitely gonna get the Whirlwind, for a Swede who flew the machine in RAF, unfortunately he was killed in action....
 
And leave off the exhausts, making a panel with 'slots' for the exhaust ports, to fit over the recess for the kit part. Plus a couple of minor panel lines here and there.

all true mate, but i'm sure i've seen a pic of K5054 with the MkI exhausts attached and i've read that she also had putty applyed to all panel joints so they shouldn't be seen anyway ?

I see that Airfix will release a Lancaster B.I (F.E.)/B.III in 1/72...
ICM a 1/48 Dornier Do 215, followed by a Do 17Z, the Do 215 being a B-4.
Hmmm......a 1/32 OV-10 Bronco from Kitty Hawk, interesting!
 
Me too ! A lot of work is needed, along with the Squadron/Falcon vac-form bits, to get the old Hobbycraft kit looking right.
