Unfortunately you can't save them all. But I do agree in the Oriskany's case.

Unfortunately, you are correct in that you can't save them all....

But, you can make a 1/200....😉😎

There used to be a fiberglass hull you could buy of a 1/72 Nimitz class. It was featured in a FSM back around 87/88 timeframe. You got basic hull with flight deck and than you built it to which ever of the class you wanted. As I recall it was something like 15' long and 5' wide.

Too modern and wrong class, otherwise I might have considered it! 😜😆😂

Also the Museum of Naval Aviation at Pensacola has several 1/72 scale carriers on display including the Hornet 🐝

And a trip to BB35. Just don't tell anyone how long the drive is to Corpus. 😎
Waiting to know where BB35 will be going. I think it's across the way from the dry dock. Still a year from now last I heard. Been down to Corpus a couple times for the Lexington. Need to go again. I thought since the Museum of Natural Science in Corpus has the Santa Maria and the Pinta, they should be tied up aft of Lady Lex! Be cool as they are about the size of a life boat.
