And also via Squadron it appears there is ANOTHER company besides Atlantis that is re-issuing old Aurora kits, Doll and Hobby, mainly focusing on figures. It is easy to forget just how prolific the Aurora company was.

Atlantis Models is having a Columbus Day sale event, 15% off.

Also they are having a rather unusual sale, 24 each 1/46 scale P-39 kits molded in yellow, bagged, no decals, for $47.99. This is a reissue of the ancient Revell kit, which at one time was reissued as the P-39 Cobra racer molded in yellow (see example below). If you wanted to introduce a bunch of kids to plastic modeling, this would be a great deal. Or else if you are just a total insane P-39 fanatic and really like the color yellow.

[special ed]

We had one of those once....an insane P-39 fanatic.

Not an aircraft or military vehicle, but I'm tempted - apart from the price.

Italeri 1/12th scale Lancia Stratos, due November this year, UK price £199.

I'm pretty sure it flies.

It certainly did, from what I saw during rallies in the 1970's !
