The basics of the AM P-51 (no suffix) & RAF Mustang IA kit - with the reissues as a F-6A variant - were reasonably close to the mark, with a couple of exception areas. Key one was in respect to the propellor which they depicted a 'facsimile' of the later style broad chord propellor blade as introduced on the A-36A and P-51A, not the correct narrow profile prop blade. Ultracast do a replacement prop blade set for both Allison Mustang styles - early narrow and later wide chord blades.ColFord Colin, in about a month I'm going to build the Accurate Miniatures cannon armed Mustang and painted in an experimental scheme to mimic a P-40 as seen in Dana Bell's book. Is the kit good to go out of the box? Thanks in advance
